Come by Page & Palette to meet Glenda Slater with her book Fooling Around with Shakespeare during the Arts & Crafts Festival!

The book is an irreverent approach to the Bard in which she takes liberties with place, plot and characters in 20 of his plays. Her middle-grade novel, Prickle Pod Hero, is due out this summer. She has published short stories, poems, magazine articles and a children’s play, The Junk Food King. She grew up in Foley, Alabama, earned a doctorate in speech/language pathology from the University of Cincinnati, and B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Alabama. As a speech pathologist she has worked with children and adults, and has taught speech communication in various universities. She lives in Spanish Fort, Alabama.
