For many years, Bill Andres has been bringing history alive for his students in the classroom. He strongly believes it was his blindness that so often was an inspiration for those students who faced their own challenges and obstacles.

Now, his enthusiasm for history is reflected in the pages of his novel, A Greater Vengeance, the first book in his exciting Civil War saga. He lives with His wife Sally, also an author, on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay in Alabama.
