A Fairhope, Alabama history of the locally manufactured building block, a structural clay tile, known as Clay City tile. The book is a history of Clay Products Inc. and its founder Frank Brown and his descendants who ran the company. It is heavily illustrated to show how the tile was manufactured at Clay City and how it was used in the construction of all building types in Fairhope and throughout Baldwin County, Alabama.
