About the Book, The Corporate Lies:

Corporate financial misdeeds. Rampant rumors of Mafia presence in the executive suite. A marriage on the rocks and a boss who demands blind loyalty. Max Brusca didn’t expect any of those surprises when he landed a cushy officer position with Paltroy Industries in New York City. But what appeared to be an exciting and prestigious opportunity in the Big Apple financial district turns his life upside down. With help from an inside company source and an emerging romantic interest with Wall Street Chronicle reporter Greta Hughes, Max attempts to untangle fact from rumor. Yet every move he makes turns up the heat. By coming too close to the truth, he becomes a hunted man.

About The Author:

Donald Reichardt's latest title, The Corporate Lies, a white-collar crime suspense novel, was released in late 2022. Donald previously authored The Third Gate to Hell, a crime novel based on true events. He also co-authored The Grace Gleason Files, a trilogy of crime thrillers inspired by true events: Justice On Hold, The Blue Wall (a 2016 finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards), and Unholy Mind Games. He is also author of an anthology of short fiction, Corporate Lies and Other Stories. Three of the stories were finalists in Byline magazine’s national competitions.

Reichardt began his professional life teaching and writing for newspapers, then launched a public relations and marketing career. He edited two Southwestern Bell employee newspapers and later organized and directed the firm's news management department. He moved to AT&T in New York as an executive speechwriter, then was director of public relations and advertising for South Central Bell and Southern Bell. He created the BellSouth Corporation’s first companywide advertising department, was named executive director-advertising and brand management and then executive director for BellSouth’s 1996 Olympic Games sponsorship program.

He left corporate life to consult and write, counseling clients in strategic planning, marketing and public relations and writing by-lined articles for business newspapers and magazines. An accredited (APR) member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Donald was elected to the national PRSA College of Fellows and to the Georgia Public Relations Hall of Fame.

Donald is a graduate of Emporia (Kansas) State University. He received Emporia State’s Distinguished Alumni Award, the highest honor given to ESU graduates.
