In the ruddy cobblestone streets of Volcan, Panama, Mona Phisher’s days are filled with excitement and anticipation over her new house on the beach she has purchased a few miles away. But Mona is guarding a tremendous, life-altering secret-one that’s become so unendurable that could crumble her newly established second marriage. She questions the trust of two other Americans that have the attention of her husband, who is acting abnormally, and as she and her British husband travel around Panama she finds herself looking over her shoulder, increasing frightened that he gotten involved with something not legal.
