Johnny Hayes began his search for his sound at 20 years old when he picked up his guitar and began to play in bars while attending college at The University of Alabama. At 23 he moved to Nashville to hone in on his skills to play with some of the countries most talented artists. In 2013 he started his band Johnny Hayes & the LoveSeats and they quickly gained popularity across the southeast playing private events and venues wherever they could.

After just 5 years in the music city, Johnny landed an audition for Season 11 of NBC's The Voice, but received no chair turns and no chance to advance further in the competition; but after several years of practice, shows, and working in his Father's landscaping business, resiliency kicked in, and Hayes was given one more shot for Season 12... Johnny's rendition of Otis Redding's classic cover “Try a Little Tenderness” caught the attention of Gwen Stefani and Adam Levine getting two chair turns and a spot on Team Adam where he advanced to the top 24.

Since then, he and his band have been touring in support of their latest self titled album release Johnny Hayes & the LoveSeats presenting their unique brand of rock n' soul music.

Hayes started his career with himself and the acoustic guitar; and the duo have been playing solo shows for years when he and the loveseats aren't busy on the road. His sets consist of an array of covers and originals that range from americana to soul and classic r&b to country, blues, and rock n roll, to easy-going coffee shop tunes. Whether it's a small stage in the corner of a bar or the national spotlight, Hayes gives it his all in each performance, and goes above and beyond to make sure those watching are completely entertained and satisfied.
