About the Author

Glenn Isaacs is a twenty-four year veteran of the United States Coast Guard and Marine Corps, and served an additional twenty-six years as a Coast Guard Licensed Merchant Marine Officer with the Navy’s Military Sealift Command. He currently serves with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary in Fairhope, Alabama.

He was a college and university professor for fteen years and faculty member for three years at the California Maritime Academy in Vallejo. Besides writing historical ction, he is a lecturer on military and naval ction and non- ction.

He and his wife Jacqueline reside on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, Alabama.
